Meet the Farmers

  • Happy Day Farms

Happy Day Farms is a small, diversified family farm located in the hills of northern Mendocino County. Perched 3,000 feet up on a southwest slope, our terraced gardens produce year-round bounty. Off-grid and solar-powered, our multi-generational team has taken our motto "Great Success" into everything we do. In addition to medicinal sungrown cannabis, our family grows produce and flowers for our local Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program and farmers markets. Our unique terroir and microclimate produces small-batch, artisanal craft medicinal, accentuated further by the high positive vibes we bring to our work.

  • Emerald Spirit Botanicals

Emerald Spirit Botanicals is a small family farm located in the mountains of Mendocino County just Northwest of Willits in the Noyo River Watershed. It is here that we cultivate a variety of CCOF Certified Organic vegetables for our community as well as Sun and Earth Certified cannabis. All of our cannabis varietals are bred here on the farm to bring forward new cultivars that are balanced in cannabinoid ratios of CBD, THC, THCV, and more. It is our vision to bring forward balanced medicine with the prayer that it can support our larger communities to find balance in their lives and relations with others.

  • Whitethorn Valley Farm

Whitethorn Valley Farm is a family-owned and operated regenerative cannabis farm located in Southern Humboldt County. Our family has lived here for 5 generations. By recognizing their successes and failures, we claim our inheritance and take our turn at working in communion with this place. We are stewards to the land and the natural ecosystem that surrounds us. We follow a holistic land management philosophy, incorporating permaculture and regenerative practices to restore this section of earth we call home. Our flowers are an expression of the Southern Humboldt terroir; the climate, culture, and community that is our heritage. Together we can heal the earth and ourselves.

  • Briceland Forest Farm

Briceland Forest Farm is a small second generation family farmstead. Their focus is growing and raising a diverse array of food, flowers, herbs, and animals to provide themselves, their community, and the cannabis marketplace with healthy choices while improving the soil and environment. Through observation of nature, learning from others, and experimentation they work towards improving the quality of their crops and the farm’s self sustaining, ecological, and abundant systems. Their rich woodland soil, consciously crafted growing practices, unique genetic selection, and location in the costal hills of southern Humboldt County create a product that expresses the unique terroir of the finest cannabis growing region in the world.

  • Down OM Farms

Down OM Farms is located in the Sierra Nevada Foothills on the historic San Juan Ridge near Grass Valley, California. Operating one of the smallest permitted farms in the state, Down OM excels at their craft by showering each and every plant and nug with personal love and affection and has been awarded an Emerald Cup award for their efforts. Growing our cannabis, flowers and vegetables together and in harmony with nature is what we strive for. Through the use of advanced composting techniques and a small alpaca herd we build our own soils, sequester carbon, and increase biodiversity through our process.
